MEXICO!!!

Ok so, I am so excited to be going to Mexico in exactly 59 days! I've really never been that far down south before and there is definitely no drinking age, but that is not all that i am excited for. I actually love going out of the country because I like to experience different cultures, sites, taste, and the surroundings. I was born in Guam because my mother was in the Navy, but I still to this day, have never seen Guam or remember it because I was too little when I was there. One of these days I hope to explore all the countries and to visit the different cultures. I just hope that this trip will be great and that the sun will shine bright! =]

BSU going to NATIONALS!!!!

This spring break was not too bad this year. It started on Thursday morning when I left Muncie to go Chattanooga Tennessee for bowling sectionals. Many people that go to Ball State University don't know that we have a bowling team, because the school does not want to sponsor us. This really frustrates me because we are ranked 6th in the nation, which is better than our football team, but yet we get no recognition for all the hard work and time we put into this sport. Anyways we came out this weekend and bowled the best to our ability and this time all the hard work paid off for our team, because we are going to Nationals on April 14th in Rockford, IL. 

As a freshman I really didn't understand how it felt to go to nationals so I guess I will know here in a couple of weeks. I will keep you all updated on how we do! =] 

27 Dresses Movie Review

Stepping into the wedding business as a single woman can be quite the challenge, but for Jane (Katherine Heigl) its more of a lifestyle. 

The Story takes place in New York City where Jane falls madly in love with her boss (Ed Burns), but he is just not that into her, only when he needs to use her as a helpful doormat. However, Jane does not see this right away until she meets Kevin (James Marsden), who is a rude and grumpy guy that doesn't believe in marriage, or at least he seems like he doesn't. Things start to turn south when Kevin really starts liking Jane, but Jane is dealt with obstacles that she must overcome to see the real reason of love. 

This romantic comedy will have you on the edge of your seat and it will make you think that love does not always have to be perfect, it just has to be the right love that you have been seeking for!

Commitments are bigger then we think and with the right amount of thought and love commitments are what makes a lifetime together with that special someone (even if they are a little rude and out of place sometimes)! 

Why am I not SLEEPY!

Since I've been a college student I have been pulling all-nighters like it is my job! I don't know why but a lot of the time im not even tired and its like 2:00 in the morning! I don't know why I wasn't like this in high school, because in high school I could barely stay awake until like 12. 

I do have to say though that college is an experience and my first year has been a big journey but I hope next year becomes a better year for me. This year I had a lot of decisions to make and I had a lot more drama then I ever had in high school, but I do have to admit if I didn't have the drama now then I would've hated it earlier on down the road. Even though, drama never stops any where you go; It follows you all around until your tired of seeing it then it goes away for a couple years. 

Well, im to that point where im tired of seeing it so good bye drama and hello to a new start of not pulling all-nighters but pulling my life back together! =]

Is BSU for me?

Today in my RA class we were talking about living learning communities and she said that you will know by the first couple of weeks if you belong at Ball State or if you would be much happier some where else. Which got me thinking because everything seems to be going really bad this year and she said that if situations occur that are really rough and it seems like you can't get out of the messes, and that you keep having them happen to you then you should probably take another look to see where you are at. 

Im really taking another look but the thing that is holding me back the most from transferring is that i really love BSU as a college and I do think I belong here just not at this time in my life, because everything seems to be going wrong. Another thing is that I don't know what college I would transfer to? It's all a bunch of questions that I still can't answer for myself, but we will see how this year goes and what the end of this semester has in store for me! 

Hopefully not a TRANSFER application! =]

Breaking the NORM....

This semester I am taking sociology and for an essay that is due in three weeks I have to break a NORM. A norm is something that is not original in our society. For example, if you walked into an elevator but you walked to the back and put your noise against the side of the elevator wall and did not turn around to face the doors, that would be breaking a norm. So, I have been trying to come up with something genius, but I can't place my finger on anything that might be a good topic and even better a great norm to break. One problem that I come into every time while trying to think of a norm to break is the LAW. You can not break the law when you are trying to break a norm and that is really hard to do since today in our society everything that you think is not normal is normal. 

This has been on my mind for weeks and I would love to get a great topic so that I get it off my mind....so if any one has a good on just post me a comment please and thank you! =]
